Dr Subash Kumar graduated from the University of Karachi in 1996 and began working in the government service in 1997. He completed his masters in Psychological Medicine from the University of Malaya in 2003. He then served as a lecturer in University of Malaya from 2005 and eventually was promoted to the post of an Associate professor. During his tenure at the dept of psychological medicine he was involved in the management of children, adolescents and adults with mental health issues. His passion involved teaching undergraduates and postgraduates students, which sadly he misses. He was also actively involved in research and has published papers in reputable journals, something that he does not miss that much. He is also active in giving public talks and is always keen for a fishing trip in his free time.
